Water resources management influences the lives of people in the region directly. We look after the wastewater of households and businesses, ensure flood protection and maintain the watercourses in the areas our association is responsible for. Through the fundamental transformation of the Emscher and the Lippe, we are also significantly improving living and working conditions in the Ruhr area. These are all tasks that can only be carried out successfully in dialogue with the region’s citizens and all interest groups. Information and communication are therefore of crucial importance to us.
